RE: Any decent places to eat in Tombstone, AZ

Tombstone Territories is in the middle of nowhere. As stated above, Sierra Vista is the best option. Might just want to fix your own meals in the RV.

RE: Bike storage in basement of Cameo Carriage

I have carried two full size bikes in my storage area. First I removed everything in the storage area. Then I removed the front wheel from the bikes and then placed the bikes inside. Reloaded everything else and was set to go. I would not think storing them inside after getting to your campsite would be very good. I just store them under the overhang. Use a chain and padlock if you are worried about theft.

RE: generator options

I chose propane because of the problem with gasoline gumming up. Don't have that problem with propane, and have never regretted the decision.

RE: Propane on during towing

This has been addressed here many times. Most of us leave it on.

RE: Older vs New 5er

I have bought used but my last one was new. Never will buy a new one again. It took me 2 years to get all the bugs fixed. Never had a bit of trouble with my two used ones.

RE: NORCOLD Refrigerator

It should drain into the fridge compartment accessible from the outside. Mine drains into a pan that evaporates. Look for a clear hose about 1/4 inch in diameter that comes into the compartment from above.

RE: Keeping mice and chimpmunks from under hood

I have seen people leaving the hood up. They say it stops them from chewing on the wires.

RE: 3.73 vs 4.10 ratio

I would not change it. First, there will be very little differance and you would never make up the differance in fuel savings. In fact, you may get better mileage while towing.

RE: Changing window blinds, Help.

Are the valances up against an overhead cabinet? If so, there is probably a screw into the cabinet. Otherwise do as Buck said.

RE: ?WW coiled water hose pin holes?

I don't have the web site now, but look at the name on the hose, I think that is it. I bought the adapter that allows me to use a regular hose on it. I think these hoses have a short life.

RE: How to carry extra diesel

I don't have a diesel but just wondering, is diesel fuel not available everywhere? It does seem like lots of diesel owners have an extra fuel tank.

RE: Rough way to calculate gallons per day of water?

Divide the number of days to empty the fresh water tank into the gallons in the tank and you will get an accurate number.
